In 2004, following the building of the separation wall insisted upon by the Israelis, the family of film director Enas I. Muthaffar was forced to leave their home, because it happened to be on the "wrong" side of the new wall; not a new experience for Muthaffar's father who had already had to abandon his house in Jaffa in 1948.
