Dauda and the Mine of Gold

by Rasò Ganemtorè Fiction Italia, Bourkina Faso 2001 17'

Daouda is twelve years old and belongs to a group of boys who are forced to dig for gold. When the daily horror is over, he leaves his mates, worn-out with fatigue, to get into the savannah. Only at dusk, with a lighter heart, Daouda will be able to dream about an enchanted place where darkness does not exist.
