Containment: Life After Three Mile Island takes a look at the consequences of the meltdown at the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant (USA), and the impact on the nearby community of Middletown, Pennsylvania. Through interviews, real life footage and archive material, the documentary examines the long-term effects of the accident on local inhabitants, psychological consequences, the public health debate and the birth of anti-nuclear activism. Begun in 1998, the film was completed in 2003 to mark the 25th anniversary of the accident.
