2001. Afghanistan bombed: 25 years of war have wrought complete destruction. In a small village in the Panshir valley they decide to build a small electric power plant to bring electric light where it had never been. The main characters are 3 children, their grandfather and the village inhabitants. Using a simple language children can understand, Costruiamo la luce translates into images the situation of a war-torn country in a true-life fable that speaks of hope yet provides serious points for reflecting on.
