Every day in Conkary, Guinea, during the school exam sessions, at sundown, hundreds of young students begin their pilgrimage in search of electric light, finding it at service stations, airports or the city's wealthy neighborhoods. Only one fifth of the country's inhabitants has access to electric power: a social emergency that damages the economy and places the population at disadvantage in nearly every way.
