Astragalus, in Armenian Gaz, is a plant species recorded in Red Book of Armenia but Armenian rural area people, especially herdsmen and Yezidis burn those flowers and use their stalks as kindling wood for fire. The film is trying to show that in Armenian mountains, in areas not reachable for everyone, grows a plant which is very beautiful, especially in its bloom it seems that the mountains are covered in violet sheet. It is a pity that by regularly burning it we eradicate a beauty like that which will ultimately result in the extinction of another rare plant in Armenia.
