What would you do if you discovered that your child’s schoolyard is contaminated with cancerogenic substances? And if the field where your animals graze is poisoned? If you lived in the midst of toxic waste deposits? There are people who took action, like in Brescia for example, where the well-being that industry brought to the city came with a high price tag attached: pollution. The enquiry that began with the Storie Resilienti multimedia storytelling project relates the battle (2013-2019) fought by people who did not look the other way but sought to improve their community now and for future generations.
