Lucio had a troubled youth growing up in a bad neighborhood, drug dealing, petty crimes and offences. But he managed to put it all behind him. After getting out of social rehab he starts to work for a social coop and meets a variegated group with a history similar to his. Initial conflicts flare up with Alfred, an Albanian fellow worker and teammate on the soccer team, but Lucio is gradually accepted into the group. When his old problems return, his group helps keep him from falling back.
