RUTA is a summer school for young documentary and environmental filmmakers. Selected for this section are eight participants with different backgrounds who will work in pairs on a project for two months. The project deals with applying the concept of sustainability to an urban context – San Donato, Turin.
RUTA is organized by the cultural association Elvira in collaboration with Museo A come Ambiente and Festival CinemAmbiente. This first section is part of the MAPS project made possible through a CivICa tender offered by the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo.
The school was coordinated by Beatrice Surano and Francesco Dragone, with the assistance of Gaetano Capizzi, Angelo D’Agostino, Lorenzo Crippa, Irene Ameglio, Antonio Castagna, Lia Furxhi, Giovanni Mauriello, Sofia Nadalini, Giulia Scintu, Morena Terranova, Luca Vigliani, and the technical support of Base Zero.
