Teaches economy of the environment and natural resources at the University of Turin, where she is vice director of the Department of Economics and Statistics and president of the postgraduate course in economy of the environment, culture, and the land. Her focus of research is economy of biodiversity, climate change, green economy reforms, evaluation of ecosystem services, water resource management, environmental bookkeeping, resilience, and renewable energy. She is vice president of the Italian Association of Environmental and Resource Economists.
