Matsubayashi Yoju graduated from the Japanese Institute of Cinema,
with his final year documentary film Dear Respectful Humans. He then
worked as assistant director in a television production company. Film
titles to his credit include Flowers and Troops (2009) and Fukushima -
Memories of the Lost Landscape (2011).
