Susanne Dzeik and Kirsten Wagenschein are independent filmmakers, working at the Berlin videocollective Ak Kraad since 1993 and visiting the independent filmschool Filmarche Starting with a videomagazine about the squatting movement, they produced mainly about the antiglobalisation movement and since 2002 about social movements in Latin America.Marcio Geronimo, who lived for 20 years in the favela Manguinhos in Rio de Janeiro, worked as coordinator with the video group aTreVer! that deals with social and cultural issues in the favelas. They produce videos about the life in the favelas with its diverse faces. He now lives half of his time in Brazil and half in Switzerland.
