Writer, former newspaper and journal editor, she lives in Kota Kinabalu, the capital of the State of Sabah, in Malaysia. Since 2012 she has been program director and festival director of the Borneo Eco Film Festival (BEFF). She holds workshops on narration and storytelling for the Suara Community Filmmaking Program, which is part of the Festival. This educational project was conceived to give voice to young directors and : local filmmakers, to help them create and share their stories through the medium of film. To promote the educational events during the Festival, she personally contacts the schools and high institutes and manages the youth leader student groups during the sustainability workshops.
