Robin Petré earned a degree in journalism from the Danish School of Media and Journalism, then a master’s degree in documentary direction from Doc Nomads, an itinerant school of cinema based in Portugal, Hungary, and Belgium. Her short film, Pulse (2016), garnered her multiple awards, including the Silver Dove at DOK Leipzig, shown at the 20th CinemAmbiente. From the Wild Sea is her first feature film.
