Edoardo Winspeare (1965, Klagenfurt, Austria) has always lived in Depressa in the Salento area. He graduated from the the Munich School of Cinema where he was employed as director's assistant, cameraman, editor and sound technician. For years he has travelled the world wor- king as a photographer, and made several documentaries before debutting as director with his full-length feature film Pizzicata (1996), followed by Sangue vivo in 2000 and by Il Miracolo in 2003.
