Andreas Hykade (AltÁ¶tting/Bavaria, 1968) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, Stuttgart, until 1990; after working as an animator in London, he joined the Filmakademie Baden-WÁ¼rttemberg where he has taught animation since 2000. His works include the short films The King is Dead (2000), We Lived in Grass (1995), Ring of Fire (2000) and the TV series Tom & the Slice of Bread with Strawberry Jam and Honey (2002-2002), as well as numerous commercials and musicals. He currently works for the production company Studio Film Bilder, Stuttgart.
