Attended Cornell University; currently associate professor of animal nutrition and diet, University of Turin; has collaborated with WWF Italia for over 25 years, was a national councilman from 2000 to 2008, and is now president of the Piemonte and Valle d’Aosta regional chapter; president of Save, a European foundation devoted to the protection of agricultural biodiversity.
