Marc and Nick Francis made their directorial debut with the documentary
Black Gold (2006), followed by When China Met Africa (2010), which has
been screened at numerous festivals, including Rotterdam and Idfa,
Amsterdam, and won the Best Filmmaker Award at the Margaret Mead Film
Festival.
