Earned a degree in literature and studied screenplay writing at the Center for Experimental Cinema. She has worked as screenplay writer for cinema and television and made two documentaries for the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) in 1994 and in 1997. Films to her directorial credit include Sole, which won the special mention award at the 2000 Torino Film Festival, Il trasloco del bar di Vezio (2005), Ferrhotel (2011) and In viaggio con Cecilia (2013)
