Bruno Bozzetto was only 20 years old made his first short-lenght film Tapum la storia delle armi. His most famous character is the satiric Sig. Rossi. He has also directed and produced three full-lenght cartoons to international acclaim: West and soda (1965), Vip, mo fratello superuomo (1967), Allegro ma non troppo (1976). Bozzetto believes animation to have vast potential as a form of expression, potential that does not stop at child audience but which can illustrate the satirical, poetic and comical for adulst too. And this convinction has been confirmed in his many international award-winning short-lenght films of great cultural content.
