Conforti has created art and performative projects, social sculpture and public engagement practices. Assistant to Michelangelo Pistoletto and cultural manager of Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, since 2011 she has held the office of president of hòferlabproject, a platform for building participatory and instructional projects on the connection between fashion and the social, artistic, cultural, and production system. In 2013 she created the 13600HZ - Concert for Sewing Machines performative project. In 2017 she founded the Lalàgeatelier Dispositivi Vestimentari network, of which she is artistic director, in collaboration with the non-profit Fermata d’Autobus for the dual diagnosis of women victims of abuse and violence.
