Helene Choquette received a B.A. in communications from UQAM and has been working in film and television for the past 15 years. In 2003, she co-directed the innovative documentary series, MarcheÌ Jean-Talon (Best Documentary Series Award and Multiculturalism Award, GeÌmeaux 2004). In 2005, she made Bonnes aÌ€ tout faire, a journey into the daily lives of domestic workers from the Philippines. Her second documentary, Les enfants de Tchernobyl, commemorating the 20th anniversary of world's worst nuclear disaster, reaffirms her talent and her desire to view social phenomena from a human point of view.
