Ang Lee made his directorial debut with Pushing Hands (1992), followed by The Wedding Banquet (Golden Bear at Berlinale), Sense and Sensibility, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, and Brokeback Mountain (Golden Lion at Venice and Oscar for Best Director).
