Alessandro Scippa (b. Naples, 1968) has worked as assistant director for Mario Martone, Stefano Incerti and Daniele Gaglianone, with whom he wrote the screenplay for Nemmeno il destino (2004), and Lucio Fiorentino's Pandemia (2008). He has written dialogues for the TV soap operas "Un posto al sole", "Incantesimo" and screenplays for the TV series "La Squadra". Shorts to his credit include Favole vere, Favole false (1994), Barricate (1995), Zhao (1997, co-directed with Maurizio Braucci), 1944 (2007), Memo torinesi (2007), Francesco sull'isola (2009). He has taught courses in screenplay theory and technique at the DAMS, Turin.
