Mattew Craig


After working as a journalist in South Africa since 1980, JÁ¶el le Chesselet earned a degree in Philosophy at the Free Uni ersity of Brussels. Until 1991 Chesselet worked for an international television network with Craig Matthew; the two went on to cr eate a solid team of documentary makers, directing and producing films, such as Mercury Island (1995) , that have been recognized at important international festivals in Canada,F rance and Great Britain. Craig Matthew worked as TV cameraman from 1981 to 1991, when he began producing and directing documentaries with JÁ¶elle Chesselet. Among his most important films: Lifelines of Western Namibia (filmed in collaboration with the Desert Research Foundation, 1995) and This Crazy Thing Called Grace (1997).
