Vittoria Castagneto (Turin, 1963) began her theater career as assistant director in prose and lyric theater. Since 1988 she has written and directed TV and radio programs for RAI-RAISAT. In 1997 she founded the association La Margherita. Her recent works include: Sciopero!, Diario da Tokyo, La ballata di Geraldina. Her works have been presented at national and international festivals. La saponetta won her Special Mention Best Short at Cannes in 2000, Short film section CCAS-Kodak.
