Hubert Canaval studied film direction at the Academy of Cinema, then
worked as film editor on fiction and documentary films. He directed
When the Mountain Calls (1996), At Home Far Away from Home (2004), and
Thank You (2008), and authored novels, including Der Gott der Nullen.
