Robert Stone (b. U.K.) earned a degree in history before starting his filmmaking career. His first documentary Radio Bikini (1987) was shown at the Sundance Film Festival and received an Oscar nomination. He then worked as producer, director, editor and operator, obtaining in over 20 years international recognition for his works. Titles to his credit include Guerrilla: the Taking of Patty Hearst (2004), presented at the Sundance Film Festival, earning public and critical acclaim, and Oswald's Ghost (2007), his most recent work.
