Markus Wambsgans was born in Landau, in Germany, in 1974. He went to the Bauhaus University in Weimar and in 2000 he co-founded the production company Kaliber16. He dealt with short video films and rea- lized his first short-length film Neon Eyes in 2003. In 2005 he made the documentary By Your Side.
