Ivan Gergolet


Ivan Gergolet (b. Monfalcone [GO], 1977) earned a degree in filmmaking from DAMS, University of Bologna. His first film was the documentary-style short Migranti (2002), a story of two Rumanian migrants, followed by Purple News, about free daily newspapers, the award-winning Quando il fuoco si spegne (2005), Akropolis, and Luna Park (2007), a documentary about youth violence in Gorizia, which was broadcast on the RAI Educational channel. Jointly with the collective Fagiani alla Spina, he made La collezione di Medea (2007), which won the Makingo 6x60 cinema marathon.
