Michael Moore was born in 1954 in Flint, Michigan; founder and editor of the countertrend magazine The Flint Voice from 1976 to 1986. Well known as clever documentary film maker, he has also worked as TV screenwriter and director. Among his most important works, before Bowling for Columbine, 2003 Academy Award for the Best Documentary Feature, we must mention Roger and Me (1989), Pets or Meat (1992), The Big One (1997).
