Andrea Parena, film author, director, and cameraman, debuted with Qualcosa su se stessi (2006). In 2007 together with Enrico Giovannone he founded the production company BabyDoc Film that has produced award-winning films by Pietro Balla, Daniele Gaglianone, and Andrea Deaglio. Titles to his direction credit include Nozze d'Agosto (2012) andIl silenzio delle sirene-Storia di un lago and Omar's Marriage (2016) supported by the Film Commission Torino ... Piemonte Doc Film Fund.
