Simona Carnino is a freelance journalist. After writing on politics and environmental issues for a weekly, she worked for Amnesty International. From 2011 to 2013 she reported on international cooperation missions in Venezuela, Peru, and Bolivia. She currently collaborates with organizations helping asylum seekers and political refugees.
