Founder and director of the Turin CinemAmbiente Festival, he works as film critic and organizer of cultural events and festivals within the film sector. He is a firm believer in the Italian independent cinema, organizing events, writing articles, putting together the book Isole. Cinema indipendente italiano and managing the Italian Independent Cinema Festival in Berlin. One of the founders of the AIACE- CIC (Italian Short-film Centre) for which he has organized shows and festival sections both in Italy and abroad. He was part of the group of authors who produced the CD-ROM “Corti italiani” (Italian Shorts) published by Lindau, and editor of the second edition of Come vendere un cortometraggio (How to sell a short) by Jan Rofenkamp, published by Lindau. His name is also among the authors of the books Vittorio De Seta, il mondo perduto and Joris Ivens – A wind tale.
