Born in Burkina Faso, Rasò Ganemtoré is living in Italy at present. He started working in his country first as an assistant photographer and camera operator, then as an assistant set designer and actor. In Italy he took part in L'albero delle pere (The Pear Tree) by Francesca Archibugi and Fame chimica (Chemical Hunger) by Scalpellini. He has acted in a film by Giuseppe Bertolucci. In 1998 he made his debut as a director with the video Bambini d'Africa (Children from Africa), which has met with the favour of the critics .
