Giovanni Pellegrini, earned a degree in navigation history; he works as an eco-naturalist guide in the Venetian lagune. In 2012 he graduated from the Centro Sperimentale, Palermo, with a degree in documentary film directing. Since 2003 he has made video clips and short films. Documentaries to his credit are Bring the Sun Home (2013) and Aquagranda in crescendo (2017), which garnered him awards at the Locarno and the Venice Film Festival.
