Ascan Breuer


Ascan Breuer, based in Vienna, born 1975 in Hamburg, studied communication science, sociology and psychology at the University of Vienna, and postgradually film-making at the KHM - Academy of Media Arts in Cologne.
His films took part in international competitions including Berlinale, IFF Edinburgh, IFF Hongkong, IndieLisboa, etc. He won the DIAGONALE-Award for Best Documentary 2005. His films were also screened a.o. at the film festivals in Cork, Rotterdam and Cannes.
