Ben Van Lieshout is a scriptwriter, director and producer. He has directed numerous short-length films and documentaries. Among his long-length films we may mention "˜Het licht van Cadiz' (1983), "˜Passagiers' (1991) and "˜De Verstekeling '(1997). He is a lecturer at the Utrecht School of Arts.
