Particio Henrìquez ha lavorato come regista televisivo in Cile fino al 1973, anno in cui si è trasferito in Canada in seguito al colpo di stato. Dal '80 al '93 ha realizzato numerosi reportage per la tv. Nel 1980 ha diretto Yasser Arafat et les Palestiniens, il primo documentario, a cui sono seguiti The Last Stand of Salvador Allende (1998), Images of a Dictatorship (2000), Living in Cities (2001), Extremis (2002), Juchitan, Queer Paradise (2002), To Disobey (2005), The Dark Side of the White Lady (2006).
